beach wedding

" We planned our wedding in 5-6 months and it was the perfect amount of time for us. I think it will always take as long as you have. I definitely don't have any words of wisdom but being relaxed and just going with the flow worked to make our day everything we ever wanted "

the theme was good vibes only!

my bouquet was a hand-tied, loose & natural shower bouquet with burnt orange roses, alstromoeria, sea holly, berries, amaranthus and foliage which included eucalyptus. the button holes were burnt orange rose with buds of sea holly and then the bridesmaids had wrist corsages in the same style.

" However, having no expectations meant i was really open to different styles and just found one i felt comfortable in and i also found a lovely handmade knitted shrug to throw on for the beach"

The Dress

I actually never really thought about my wedding dress, so choosing one was a whole new world and i actually found the experience really overwhelming at first.

" We chose to have our wedding rings custom made by a local jeweller in the SW. We wanted to use someone who worked ethically and using fair-trade gold and Kate at Glasswing crafted them with a brushed satin finish. They're gorgeous"

"The Fellas wore kilts in the Gunn Clan tartan. While the immediate family had their own, the groomsmen hired from Kinloch Anderson in a standard tartan."

“Laura was actually the most wonderful photographer we could have possibly asked for. We honestly clicked with her from the first meeting. We were put perfectly at ease and as such, the whole experience with her just flowed seamlessly from start to finish.”

"all the guests commented on how brilliant she was; visible when needed but floating around gathering perfect memories when not needed"
